Hello, everyone! I'm new here and I just wanted to introduce myself, since I'm definitely a Nonstener. I just found your forum the other day and I'm so thankful that I did! I thought I must be the only Rob fan out there who didn't think he and Kirsten were really dating. It feels great to know I'm not alone in my thoughts after all.

I had the day off yesterday, and spent most of it reading through all the archived rumor threads. I guess I should be ashamed to admit that, but truly, I couldn't stop reading! You guys are so hilarious! Plus, it was like a breath of fresh air to not have to be reading post after post of Robsten stuff! I feel like I've found my "home". And just in the nick of time too, what with Comic Con just around the corner! Oh my, I'm so looking forward to hearing about what goes down with that! Woo hoo! Fun times!

So now I have a question, if I may ask one, being a newbie and all.... I believe I read through all the archives and tried to do a search but didn't see anything about the "hotel gate" (the morning after the MTV movie awards where Kristin and Rob were photographed in that hotel parking lot with Kristen's Mini Cooper and her mom hugging Rob, etc.) Coupled with that was the unsubstantiated rumor about them having dinner after the MTV awards. I apologize if there already was a discussion on that here and I missed it. I don't mean to beat a dead horse!

At any rate, I have my thoughts and reasons as to why none of that proves a thing regarding Robsten, but I would really like to hear what everyone else here thought about it too.

I never really worried too much about "hotel gate". The fact that there were so many people there took away from the feeling of the little romantic get away the Robsteners wanted it to be. I don't know what kind of relationship Kstew has with her mom, but no way in hell would I have called my mom to pick me up at a hotel after spending the night with my boyfriend when I was 19. My mom and I are really close, but that would have just been all kinds of weird.

There was never any confirmation they stayed in the same room or in the same bungalow for that matter. No pics of the maybe good bye kiss the paps supposedly saw (but didn't get a shot of , even though they could have made a ton of money off of). In the end I'll stick with NO PROOF, NO TRUTH

Could all the Kristen Stewart hating finally be coming to an end? Looks that way if her lovah Robert Pattinson has anything to do about it.

Overnight, R.P. has suddenly become the big media target. OK Magazine is giving Rob a hard time for supposedly being a bad tipper! The tab dishes that after downing drinks and fancy-schmancy food like veal Milanese at Il Cantinori, Pattz and his crew were really cheap.

"The group left a tip of only $50—just shy of the standard 15 percent, and way shy of what you'd expect," reports OK.

So was that the worst of it all?

Yes and no. The waitress still said that Rob and his group were "very nice and friendly."

The mega heartthrob may be quite reminiscent of a young Johnny Depp, but he's nowhere near Johnny's level—in many ways. Seriously, was this waitress expecting a $4,000 tip? At least R was no Jeremy Piven, leaving the gal with a Twilight DVD (although if many of you were serving Robert, we doubt you'd object either way).

Obviously, sexy P is just trying to take the heat off his gal who's getting hit snarky-ass left and right by the media (and fans) these days. Clearly, R.Pattz is back out there again distracting the paps and myriad haters with his musky man scent, stinky tobacco digits and messier hair than ever, not to mention totally bogus chick outings that the media's eating up, baited hook, line 'n' sinker.

This is why Robert does no wrong. Not in our books. Oh, and let's hope Kristen repays him real nice next weekend. We're almost nervous for the Robsten reunion! After all the time apart, we think Comic-Con will be quite telling of what's to come.

How does this guy have any credibility if Rob = bad tipper = Robsten? Is there some leap in logic that is just too advanced for me to see? Anyway, I have my own theory on why Rob is a bad tipper. He is saving his money because he is going to hire Dlisted.com's hot slut of the Month, Quween, for Comic-Con! Here's an explanation of who Quween is:

For those of you who do not know who Quween is, she is the possibly crazy but hopefully well-meaning L.A. woman who randomly and unsolicitedly came to Katharine McPhee's defense when Kat was swarmed by aggressive paparazzi a few weeks ago. Seeing the season 5 Idol in trouble, Quween jumped into action, seizing Kat by the hand and dragging her to the shelter of a nearby building.

Sure, it was a building that Katharine probably had had no intention of entering in the first place. And sure, Katharine probably wasn't in any real danger, and might have even welcomed the media attention given the somewhat lackluster state of her career. But trifling details like that didn't stop Quween from doing her self-appointed job.

Since then, Quween has become a media darling of sorts, keeping the Los Angeles streets safe for everyone from Miss Teen pageant winner Taylor Atkins to Cedric The Entertainer. She even starred in an amazing "Funny Or Die" faux commercial with Katharine McPhee herself, offering her vigilante-like bodyguard services to any celebrities on the "A through K" lists.

I don't think thats weird. Its not weird unless you make a fan video out of it. Actually if you made a fanvid of that song playing with a slideshow of the Robsten manips, that would be inspiring, not weird. I always thought Twilight soundtrack could've used some depeche mode or the smiths.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome...and for sharing your ideas about hotelgate.

Besides the fact that Rob had no where else to go, I just figured that Summit had them staying there so they'd be closer to the MTV venue for getting picked up and all. I know this is done all the time with actors for events. No one knows if they had one or two bungalows, but my guess is the whole famn damily came and spent the night because the place was so nice and spacious! Hence, the crowd in the parking lot the next morning.

I also believe they didn't know the paps were there. Everyone looks too natural and relaxed to me. The paps could've been quite a distance away using high powered lenses so as not to be seen (says my close friend who is a professional videographer and photographer). If that's the case, there was nothing in either KS or RP's demeanor to suggest anything beyond friendship. I also suspect that the PR department tipped off the paps. They probably wanted to start the summer off by giving everyone something to gossip about to fuel the rumors while KS and Rob had the summer apart. Dating rumors are great for a movie's publicity!

About the dinner the night before: I heard a couple of things and I know it is all in the realm of unsubstantiated rumor but I still want to comment on it because it's always bugged me and I just want to get it off my chest! Lainey tweeted that this dinner was not a private two-some, but there were at least 5 people at the restaurant, two of which were Rob's management and one of his friends and of course, Kristen. There were other sources (who the hell they are, I know not!) who said that after that dinner, Rob went out drinking with his guy buddies and left KS at home. Perhaps I'm projecting my own preferences here, but most couples I know when faced with a 2-3 month separation want to spend their last night together...alone! If that really happened (Rob going out), that seems like unlikely couplish behavior to me.

Ok, so does Kristen know her man is out on the streets of NYC on a double date? Yeah, I know... they're probably just friends hanging out. Well, I have to admit, I got a little excited momentarily, thinking of Rob out on an actual double date and thinking how this would send the Robsteners into total meltdown if it were so.

And lastly.... a lady who was visiting the set of Remember Me said there was a reporter from People Magazine talking to them today and there is going to be a 4 page spread on Rob this Wednesday. I suppose we'll find out if this is true enough come Wednesday. I await the potentially momentous occasion with baited breath!

R-Patz wouldn't chat with us. Yes, sad but true. And as for his lovely co-star Ms. Kristen Stewart? Shoot, she wouldn't talk on the set of the first "Twilight" when she was just that girl from "Into the Wild" (claims of needing to stay in character). Therefore, I didn't expect it this time around and it was a correct assumption.

Suddenly, it's time for a break to change camera angles, and much to the excitement of our posse, as they head to their trailers, Stewart and Pattinson walk right by us. They completely ignore us of course, but the moment certainly provided future dinner conversation. (Ah, how nice to be so forgettable after interviewing Stewart three times up close over the past year.)

@Cedar: I've been trying for a couple of days to track down our convos on "Ho-telgate", but couldn't. We basically felt the same way and our motto held true - No Proof, No Truth.

Does Rob have a rented residence in LA anymore? Probably not. Do actors usually have hotel rooms to get ready for awards shows, even if they live in that city? More than often than not. Were there actually pictures of them leaving/entering the hotel? No. Just outside. Kristen was in her car for the most part. Their body language and placement of feet behind car door said nothing to me suggesting secret luv-ahs. Her mother was there. Unless they're all a bunch of freaky kinkies, who wants parents there to witness that? You can't tell me if the paps were there and SAW a kiss between R/K they wouldn't have caught it in pictures and in that video.

They better be glad they never photo'd me hugging my guy friends good-bye knowing I wouldn't see them for months. My hugs would've DEFINITELY set off rumors if I was famous. I give long lingering hugs to my guy friends and that hug R/K shared was more like what he gives to fans. The ol' one-armed hug. =p

And about the romantic dinner for two afterwards, I don't believe it. Lots of sites reported his management and others being with them. As for those who claim to have saw them making out and holding hands not caring who saw. Where's the photographic evidence? You can't tell me in this technological age someone wouldn't have taken a photograph on their cell phone. And made LOTS of money off it.
