Rob can wink at me anytime he wants... Image

Pretty proud of me – lunchtime yoga teacher didn’t show up today, so instead I met up with a coworker and I ‘gave’ her a yoga class. I must be a better teacher than I thought b/c I can feel it ALL over!!

Nothing like a good stretch! Image

Man, this was inspiring! I'm going to have to study her diet plan and take some serious notes.

Hey MuffinMom,

I've started putting up the caffeine free teas under the 'late nite tv' fandom. So far they are all herbal, but I'll eventually be adding decaff black and green teas as well.

Wow. Just wow. It seems like the Atkins Diet to me. Good for her.

The funny thing is I started to try to cut out carbs from flour products, potatoes and grains. Pretty much like South Beach. Will try this for about 2-3 weeks and then slowly introduce the good carbs (brown rice, sweet potatoes, whole wheat) back in, in moderation.

Yeah, but South Beach is a bit more reasonable, it allows some carbs. OR kinda like Jorge Cruise. I've done well and feel better with that kind of diet, but my beef is that they require planning and cooking for me, and with my current crazy work schedule its hard to find time for either. Sigh. Funny, DH wants to take pictures of me weekly if I do jump on this bandwagon and make a gif of me like that one. Image

Bleah. I'm in the middle of it. I stayed up until 11-ish finishing up a report that I had to present this AM. Got loads of other reports I still need to write up and get ready for another mtg next week.

I DID discover that exercising helped with my concentration, though! I skipped it for like two weeks b/c I had no time for it, then Tues I was having a meltdown, so I decided to say F-it and just do the exercise bike. Then did it again yesterday. And it helped with concentrating!! So no more excuses!!

So ladies, now that the weather is becoming more unpredictable and less cooperative, what are you plans for changing your outdoor exercising routines?
It's freezing here today. I mean, shoot, it gets way colder, but it's the first really cold day of the autumn, and I'm really fighting the desire to make my "exercise" routine one where I just crawl back under the covers after work and don't come out till morning.

Outdoors? Exercise? Image

Yeah, I know, I'm lame. I did get workouts in last weekend - though I also didn't eat the best either.

Meh, I'm keeping the same workout routine - definitely no plans for running outside!

Muffin: what is that app that reads to you? I was hoping to download it today or tomorrow (as I have some data left on my plan and starts over again on Thursday.

I am also looking for a good speak/translator/spanish app for work. Anyone?

Amy, the iphone App reader I use is called VoiceDream. LOOOOOVE it!

As for a Spanish translator, sorry, can't help with that as I'm already a native speaker so don't need that. If I ever need a translation I usually dump it into google translate (usually when I'm too lazy to translate) .Its not the greatest translation but it gives a good idea of what the text says.
