Both are on the Bowery, which is the hip place to go these days. Plus we could go to The Bowery Electric (www.theboweryelectric.com) for post dinner drinks if anyone wants to stay out.

I like that neighborhood because it's a slightly cooler part of NYC that isn't quite as touristy as midtown and there are a million places to go out around there. However, if those options aren't suitable, once everyone has their hotel info I can triangulate and find other options

If we can get an approximate head count and how much everyone is willing to spend and who's willing to room with others and what area we need to look for, we'll be set to search for hotels.

Lindelle and I are traveling together so will room together too. We're def okay with putting two more in our room.

I'm happy to lead a convoy, but if you want someplace in Mid-town, let me know so I can find a few new suggestions.

The Tavern looks great to me! I'd guess there will be 15-20 of us. I actually have an email going around of people who will be joining us that night who don't spend much time on this forum so we can make plans. I don't know the dinner date and I don't know the exact date I will be in NYC yet, but please count me in. I'll arrive at 28th probably. I don't care which restaurant we will go or what we'll eat, as long as we meet and have good time together.
I'll probably book a hotel somewhere midtown, around Times SQ - I know it's not hip, but it's practical to cover the city.
