I might make it up for a one/two day trip, still trying to figure it out!

Wow, it's going to be a full house! It's too bad I have to work, but we'll have to try and organize a drink/stalk pub crawl of Rob's favorite bars the night he gets here. ;)

What day is the premier? (I know..bad, bad fangirl!) I'm in WNY, so it's a 5 hour drive to the city....but soooo worth it.

I'm trying to work out a way to go. I don't think the hubs is thrilled with the idea.

Bar/restaurant list:

So in the spirit of seeing Rob, I've started compiling a list of places he's been seen while in NYC. If we break it up, we have the best chance of locating the quarry and all ending up merrily drinking with him in a fine watering hole. :D This is not going to be good for my work-life, but it must be done.

Black & White
Gemma (in Bowery Hotel)
Avenue
La Esquina
Dive Bar
Megu
Cabin Down Below
Il Cantori
Tom & Jerry's

A friend of mine is a foodie, so I may ask her where the celeb hotspots currently are....

If Rob is confirmed for Fallon for the 2nd and I can scrounge a ticket to go then I'm strongly considering taking the bus down Tuesday morning and going home Wednesday morning. Lots of "ifs" involved but I really wanna go to meet up with everyone

This may be kind of nuts, because I live here, but I'm seriously considering booking a night at Bowery Hotel, just on an off-chance....It would make life easier for me to be in the city anyway. $300 is a lot of money though, so if anyone else is interested in maybe sharing a room, I might be up for it....

aww, d_e I wish you could get off work!

Ok I posted in the flat, but this is probably the better place ... what's the best way to coordinate hotels and things?

Lori and I are going to look into hotels, but we'd be up for a 4 to a room deal (as Lori said, that way we have $$ to eat  ). So give us a holler if you're interested! It will probably be for Sun-Tuesday or Weds.

Once it gets closer I'm going to see what I can do. If we are going to do a pub crawl (stalk) night, I'm sure to be calling in sick the next day ;) I'm fairly sure our best bet to see HHH is to follow twitter and find out what bar he is hanging at....

RM does not open in the UK until 2 April.

I was really hoping to combine the premiere with (a few) viewings of the movie........but the premiere is SOOOOO early.

Sadly this means I will not be able to make the premiere.

So please, attendees, we will have to live vicariously through you all. I want to know who is going, where you are eating, who is going to Fallon taping, what you are wearing, where you are staying, who are roomies.....and PLEASE share as many piccies as possible.......

Looking forward to all your stories.........

I am looking for cheap flights to the USA on 11 March......does not have to be NYC now.....just anywhere with a cheap flight and a movie theatre......

:)

I have the same problem, but I decided to go to NYC for the premiere and then see RM in Europe - Belgium and Netherlands' release date is march 11.

Wow, people are seriously planning on camping out for the premiere apparently. I'm gonna have to join Team I Need A New Plan, cause what I did for NM obvs isn't gonna work.

I'll be in a bar drinking waiting for you all to get out of Fallon! :D

For anyone looking for a hotel, just saw that the Bryant Park Hotel has really low rates for people on twitter. You can find them at www.twitter.com/bryantparkhotel. I haven't stayed there, but I think it must be pretty nice, as a lot of the Fashion Week people stay there. It's right in the heart of Midtown so it's centrally located and they have a really nice restaurant and bar there.

Hey DE, we should try to find a place just for ALL the LTTers to get together for dinner and drinks on maybe Sunday night. Someplace not terribly expensive (by NYC standards) and not someplace we'll have to get all dressed up for, but someplace big enough for all of us. Probably anyplace that serves pub food and booze would be good enough and please everyone. All I can think of off the top of my head are Flight 151 and Peter McManus, but I haven't been to either of those places since 2005. Someplace convenient to public transportation is also a good idea.. Any thoughts?

That sounds rad. I'll poke around, there are probably some good bars downtown that we could go to. I'm not sure Flight 151 would be big enough...Maybe if everyone lets me know where they are staying I can pick something centrally located?

....or someplace close to the Bowery Hotel so we can mass exodus after dinner and stand across the street and stare at the entrance.
