"hoodies" hahaha.

So, I want to know what everyone's WC is this week.

I know our guidelines say not to go too easy on yourself, and I know this sounds easy - but it's been a real challenge for me lately so my goal this week is to get to bed before midnight every night this week.

Which reminds me - LC9er I totally slacked off on texting you at 10pm. My bad. I suck. Let me make it up to you:

Oh Abs, we didn't have any planned calls but you can STILL "make it up to me" with p0rn any day!! Image

Kinda annoyed that I have no time to workout today or tomorrow - today b/c I had a 7am dentist appt, and have to leave work on time so can't even sneak in a workout, and tomorrow b/c I have offsite meetings. Boohoo! I wanna try out my new sneakers, darnit!Image

My WC this week? I'm strongly considering that it should be making an outline for a story I wanted to draft. But I also have more decluttering to do. Or maybe both? Image

I say if you can only do one then do the story - it'll enrich your life more than some decluttering. There'll always be more decluttering! (speaking from personal experience as I stare at the pile o' crap on my desk)

It's hump day.
I managed to make it to bed last night before midnight.
But I slept like crap, so I'm still tired today :( Usually I sleep really well on Tuesday nights cuz it's my Pilates night, and last night was a hard class. But I think my body is still adjusting to the Daylight Savings adjustment. It's so dark when my morning alarm goes off. I hate that.
Anyway, like I said, it's Hump Day. So Imma go ahead and post some (random) hump-appropriate pics to help us all get through the day.

I saw a screening of "Olympus Has Fallen" last night. I was really surprised on how much i enjoyed it. It has a Die Hard feel to it.
The only down side to it was that about 5000 people got killed in it. And fairly graphically. But seeing this guy helped take the edge off of that....
Image

I got a free screening pass to see The Host next Wednsday. I am pretty excited about that. It has been years since I read the book so I can't rememeber any details about the story and that's usually a good thing.

Amy,
1 - I cannot wait to hear more about this:
Image
I love Guy. I love Australia. I luuuurve Rob. I love this kind of movie!!

2- I WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS YESTERDAY:
Image
Another movie I'm excited to see. GB hasn't made the best choices IMO in his last string of movies .I mean, they've been alright.........ok, who am I kidding, they've been pretty crap Disney-esque movies. But I'm looking forward to seeing his bad-ass-ness reemerge in this one.

3 - How is it that you're always getting to go see Screeners??? You lucky devil you

Image Hi everyone!

Glad yesterday is OVER! Motherhood and applepie corporate thingflings are not my thing. Esp. when I can't sneak read my ff b/c I'm sitting too close to the presenter. Image

Abs - thx fr the New Moon pic - Image As far as my personal challenge - the main driver for decluttering is that I want to treasure map this year and the declutter will help a lot with that. I think I'll challenge myself to do a bit of both this week. Image

Got my kindle for my lunchtime workout - I'll be trying out my new sneakers! Now I need to start looking for races to use as my training / target goal. Image Not to mention I need to figure out what to watch Image

Maybe I'll just watch this the whole time I'm on the treadmill...

My personal WC this week is to get at least 7000 steps on my pedometer at least 3 days this week. It's a lot harder (for me) than it sounds. Plus I had a little setback yesterday since I had to go home to take care of my dad who was involved in a car accident. He's at home now, had to get 16 stitches and 15 staples on his head. I have the utmost respect for caregivers, it's difficult! Luckily my dad is with it, just needed help changing bandages and running errands since he can't drive and currently doesn't have a car. Send healing and positive thoughts his way please!! So far 2013 has not been good to him.

Abs - no worries about the nightly bedtime text :). I was going to make my WC to be in bed by 10 but the only days that could really happen are mon-thurs and that didn't seem like a good enough WC. Feel free to reach out for help going to bed!

Amy - I loved the host movie!! I went with UC and she didn't remember much of the book either (I kept explaining things and differences between the book and the movie) but I think she still liked it. It could def be a standalone movie. Thanks for the review of the new GB movie - I wasn't sure about it but maybe I will give it a shot.

Muffin - you can always text me for help taking you off a cravings cliff, or whatever!! Did you get new shoes to replace the ones that gave you blisters?

OMG LC, so sorry to hear about your dad, glad it wasn't worse!! Healing vibes on their way Image
Yes, I was able to exchange my sneakers after all even though they were "final sale". Of course I got a more expensive pair instead. Can't wait to try them in a bit!Image
Thx for the texting offer, will keep it in my bag of tricks, you're too sweet! Image
And good luck with your pedometer challenge. That's a lot of walking!! Image

i get to go to a lot of screenings because of this site:http://www.getscreening.com/free-movies-screening-tickets?target=showcities

just go and set up an account and they email you when a screening is in your state/area. Then you have to be quick to respond...sometimes they fill up within an hour of the email. You also have to set up an account on this site http://www.gofobo.com/ because it is where you will be sent to to print out your passes.

And then the night of the movie you have to show up about 1.5-2 hours early to assure a seat because they overbook to assure a full house. But I bring a book or a crossword puzzle and I'm happy. One of my son's friend's mom goes to them with me and she's a lot of fun so it's all good.

I hear you about GB. I saw Playing For Keeps (thank gawd that was a free screening!) The Ugly Truth, Bounty Hunter, etc.
I did like PS I Love you but I never fail to snot sob through the whole movie so I don't watch it very often.

I visited the flat first and was very disappointed that there was barely one pic of him there. You guys did much better and get a gold star for posting the new Rover still. So how is everyone. Missed you guys. Believe it or not, I tried to follow my own challenge while I was MIA. I think I lost a little but I didn't gain which is a plus. Going to catch up soon and see what's been happening while I've been away. Can't leave you without some porn though.

Hope he feels better soon and glad it wasn't more serious. My father was the worst patient when he had his hip replacement. My mom went to the dermo to have a melanoma removed and they said it wouldn't be a big deal but she came out with 35 stitches on her face and in agony. It was deeper than they thought but they got in all. She claims she looks like Frankenstein but I haven't seen her since she is in Fla.

I thought I saw some on the very first pics that came out but they don't seem to be there in the subsequent ones. :(
Just an FYI, right now in the flat there is a porn war going on between Rob and some guy named Richard Armitage-I think-Jodie and Kel's new crush. To me he just okay. No one can be better than Rob in my book. So If you want to drool over Rob or even help out-you know the way there.

BB - oh I missed your p0rn loving ways honey!!

Yeah, there's a few gals here who've discovered RA, I figured I'd check him out and watched the BBC North&South series - beautifully done, lovely story, but he ain't on Rob. He does have a lovely voice but still not for me ;)

Sorry to hear about your mom, hope she heals soon!

Abs - yeah I'd say he'll have some tatts.
I also suspect he's not going to survive the movie...

Challenge wise - for decluttering - I put 11 bags of stuff on my front steps for the Lupus foundation to pickup, gave a bag of stuff to a work friend, got 4 bags of stuff to freecycle and 2 more to give to another friend. What's scary is that there's even more to clean out! Image

Also got my lunchtime yoga in. Foodwise... I think I need to rethink soups for lunch, they take too long to eat and for some reason don't feel so filling. Image Then I end up scrounging for junk (like I did today Image). Now I need to get back on track for the rest of the day...

And since its Friday I think we need a happy face around here...

Believe me I missed it here as well. No one has it On Rob for me.

I actually started decluttering. We shoved everything into Blizzard Boy's room because he was away at college. But he came home for spring break so I needed to get his room ready so I did. All decluttered of my stuff and alot of his stuff too. This happened despite the fact I was sick again-don't even ask the hell I've been through these past few months. But I'm starting to feel more like myself now. Thank goodness.

Well I didn't make my WC this week :(. My workout of choice - yoga - doesn't require many steps so even though I took3 very tough classes this week I didn't get 3 days of 7000 steps. The reason 7000 is because I get money toward my healthcare at work if I rack up points by wearing the pedometer, and 7000 is the first "tier" where you get bonus points.

This week is RAOK week. Don't stress about this, just do at least one thing that makes someone else happy! Stranger or someone you know.

Thanks for the kind words for my dad, he's doing pretty well now. We visited him on Saturday and he's feeling much better and the wounds are slowly healing.

Welcome home BB!

that's a lot of bags!!! good for you!!! my DH will be gone for 5 days starting tomorrow so I thought I would do a mini home make-over and declutter and maybe paint something....

i am also planning to hit the gym 3 times this week. I told my DS, whose on spring break, that he has to go to the gym at least twice with me for an hour each time. He can choose what he wants to do (walk the track, lift weights, swim, shoot some hoops with me, etc)

did i already mention that my cholesterol is WAY high, so I have spent the last few days taking my meds and trying to stay away from red meat and butter. i really don't want to be on the meds so I am hoping to get it down and then ween myself off the meds with healthy eating.

I am so glad BB is back....now if we could get Seattle to pop in and say hi.....
