Whoo hoo! I listen to that damn song all the time and still don't know the words.

PS. I finally sat through the credits and was annoyed that they adult contempo rocked that song. They should have just let the Dwaves sing it.

Boo for yard work! I potted some herbs for my mom for mothers day and potted some flowers for me and called that 'yard work'. It was too rainy for real yard work!

And since Brittany didn't come over yesterday I didn't even bother cleaning my house!

Wait.. wtf did I do all weekend?? :?

   Yeah, sorry Ron. Don't take it too personally, but just not a lot of fucks to give these days. ;)

As far the weekend goes, Saturday was busy with the usual kid stuff: soccer pictures for the 5 year old at 7:30 am (WTF why so effin' early?? I wish Amy was local, because I know she'd do a great job and schedule it for a decent time of day), soccer with him in the rain at 9, soccer with my 9 yr old in the rain at 2, pool pass pictures at 4, buying new dance shoes for said 9 yr old - to the tune of $90 :o Why do their feet have to grow so often????? I did manage to squeeze in time to get my hair cut, colored and highlighted! Yay! And then we went out for a Mother's Day dinner. Sunday was a lot less eventful - church, lunch of leftovers, and then I fell asleep on the sofa for a few hours. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Today I've been swamped with work. Missing Friday to be home with sick kids resulted in mountains of files for me here. :|

I get emails from Live Nation Concerts letting me know when tickets are going on sale for local concerts/shows. Here's what the email I just received says:
The Wiggles - 2 Shows!

Sunday, October 6
Warner Theatre
2:30pm & 6:30pm

If you like The Wiggles, you might also like…

Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody
May 22 - 25
The Fillmore Silver Spring

Really????? :o "If you like The Wiggles, you might also like Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody"!? What the Actual Fuck?

Makes perfect sense to me. Only moms who spend all day having to watch nothing but children's programming would think 50 Shades was enticing.

Me and Bobby McGee was one of the first songs I learned to play on my guitar. :D :D :D

Yeah, a year of les miserables sten pics kind of kills the mojo. I hope he has a fab birthday, but..... whatever.

Added as a last thought. Girls this is a joke but if you're a fan of K's please dont read.

It seems that we no longer care,
And wish that Rob would ditch the spare,
We used to think him rather hot,
But PRSten now means he's not.
Our mojo's at an all time low,
The fake girlfriend has got to go,
We wish him well this special day,
But call me when she's gone away.

What the actual fuck Alex? Whoever organises a kids footy match at stupid o'clock at the weekend is disfuckingrespectful to parents. We used to complain about a 10am kick off as it meant getting up early.   Have I mentioned I like my sleep? ;)

I pray to give thanks to JK Rowling for giving us Harry Potter. It spared me from crappy kids TV meaning that Fifty Shades of Shite is not at all appealing. Maybe I got to keep a few brain cells.

My weekend was good...we went out with another couple Saturday night and ended up at the casino to watch the horses run. I shoved $20 in a quarter slot machine while waiting for my friend to come back from the restroom and won $220! Woot! I promptly cashed out and didn't bet again the rest of the night. I planted flowers on Saturday, went to farmer's market, and we got a lot done around the house.

Work is kicking my ASS right now. I worked a ton last week and it is looking like this week will be the same. We are in the process of hiring a new sales rep, so there will be a whole THREE of us in my office! Woohoo! But that also means my workload is going to pick up quite a bit. Luckily, the person we are hiring will most likely be my trusty Office Boyfriend, so I know him already and know we can work well together. I will just be glad when it all gets sorted out and we can move forward. Apparently it is going to be a busy summer!

I just Googled my username..shouldn't have done that :? I got to see all of the interlopers who keep stealing my username for the diff't sites I try to go to tho  one in particular seems to love talking about babies and frilly girly things, definitely not me  then there's this other chick who seems obsessed with fanfiction.... all in all it made me feel kind of weird :| so...

*waves to all my stalkers*

I,
kelbel75 like Richard Armitage, I have a blog about him, I still like fanfiction, and chocolate chip cookies.

there! now only the important things will be associated with me :P

hello hello!

I had an exhausting week and weekend. Drove 3+ hours to go to my friend's baby shower. I totally got her the best gift though so I'm still high on smug.

Happy Birthday Ron. I look forward to awkward birthday pictures of you going bowling with perma-teenagers or standing in front of a gas station. Live large, my friend.

I'm pretty sure I'm in the process of making the most disgusting pasta salad. Half the ingredients I thought I had were stale or gone. Boo. Maybe just eat some cereal.

In other news, Mr. KK and I had a really great talk last week. We reset our expectations with each other with ou new schedules and hopefully will get back into a good rhythm.

I never realized I didn't know how to spell rhythm. Two Hs? Really?

And in case someone didn't see on Twitter (BB, I mean you) Manda is pregnant and I am SO excited for a new flat baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aunt KK has tentatively nick-named her/him Plaidley for a girl or Plaidson for a boy. Maybe we can pitch in for some shiteous baby nikes? :D :D :D :D

Good morning!!

Today has started off a little wacky...hope that isn't a sign of what's to come!

I am so happy for Manda! I totally missed it on the twitters until the next day. I really need to pay more attention. I vote for Plaidley/Plaidson. It really is the LEAST she can do...I would even be OK if she used it as a middle name.

Also from twitter this morning...I see that some of us are experiencing summer and others winter. Is ANYONE just enjoying SPRING??
