Or how about one of those casseroles you can just stick in the oven to warm up while you're opening up presents/ waking up?

I *think* I'm recovering from this God-awful cold. Went to the doc on Friday, she prescribed this codeine cough medicine which I tried last night. Big Mistake. BIG. I was so frigging groggy this morning, that Muffin was joking I'd turned into a zombie! Still not feeling strong enough for working out, bleah.

Off to wrap presents, and to make some coquito (rum coconut eggnog) to bring to my neighbor's party tomorrow.

Now that my smartassery is out of the way...

Just use regular pizza crust. Stretch it out on the pan like you do, but you'll want to make sure there's a good lip up on the edges. Whisk up some eggs as you would for an omlette or scrambled eggs and pour it onto the crust instead of pizza sauce. Cover with cheese and whichever other toppings you want. Cook until the egg is cooked and the cheese is melty. It's the same thing as a regular pizza, but with whisked egg in place of tomato sauce. And it's super yummy.

*Whew!* I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas- I know I did!

Are we starting this next Challenge on Jan 7? Who's the HBIC* for this one?

Or maybe you guys aren't ready to think about living healthy again until you've got New Year's behind us??

I'm not ready to think period. The first day back to work after the holidays sucks a big hairy ball sack :(

What's the guidelines this time around? Are we going back to the "old" method or using the "new" one? Or blending the two of them together?

I don't mind putting the spreadsheet together, I just am going to put all the tabs up in the beginning so I don't have to update every week (since I can be forgetful sometimes). I like the idea of shorter challenges, helps to keep the motivation going IMHO. If we keep the WC I support the idea of having community input, they are always the toughest part for me!

I stunk as HBIC so hopefully someone else will pick up that baton...
If we do shorter challenges - how about making them 6 weeks long? Is that too short? With the old challenge, I was running out of steam around the mid-point (6wks) so I'd prefer 6 weeks as well.

Trying *really* hard to ignore all the desserts my MIL sent home with us... so will go do laundry instead. I'm going to try and start planning menus... but first I need to clean out my recipe stash so I can FIND recipes first, LOL!

Muffin, for the record, I didn't think you stunk.

I like the 6weeks at a time idea.
I'm partial to the old school challenge. Found the newer one we tried out last time to be too easy to cheat.
Maybe we should incorporate some of the ideas of each together.
That's my two pennies.

Thank you Lovelies for the birthday wishes! And thank you SO MUCH Gina for the bicycling book!!!

I had a great day- we had sunshine for the first time in what feels like WEEKS, I went cycling this morning for the first time in 2 months (YAY!), went to a dayspa for a heavenly facial, had oysters for dinner (yum!) and saw Breaking Dawn 2 for the 4th time. It's been my tradition every year since 2008 to see a Twi movie at the theater on my birthday (with the exception of Eclipse since that opened in June).

I am SO ready for the next Challenge. I feel like I consumed at least a quarter of my body weight in sugar today. Tummy ache tonight. :( Hubby and I are going away to Whidby Island for the weekend tomorrow morning to extend my birthday festivities and I am bound and determined not NOT eat crap all weekend. I will be accountable to you come Sunday night.

What is your goal for the next Challenge? My cycling has been so sparse this past year. 5.75 miles today was hard and I had to stop 3 times climbing this one hill that used to be easy. Hubby and I have a challenge to ride 23 miles on 2/10 to my favorite "Forks-looking" park on my favorite bike path. I want to be a cyclist again and I want to reinstate my old Bike Bragging Days. What do you want to manifest during the next Challenge?
