He was actually the wedding photographer for my best friend, and he offered the boudoir package to her and mentioned if we did it together we'd get a discount. Since boudoir is super popular right now, you could probably do a search for local photogs in your area. Maybe check out theknot.com too - they are a wedding resource but since many brides are doing this as well you could find something. Another term for the shoot is "pinup" so you could try that as well. Good luck!

THANKS to everyone posting about keeping a food journal, I decided to start one too! I'm reading another nutrition book that highly recommends doing this as well and I thought it was fitting that everyone was talking about it. I'm only on day 2, and I tend to get sick of these things pretty quickly, but I'm going to try to keep going with it so I can see my habits.

How is everyone doing with their healthy goals this month?? Mr. LC and I are trying to implement some "lifestyle changes" as we call them, and then in January I want to try a 21-day food elimination detox/diet. Some of our changes now are exercising 3 times per week, no eating 2 hours before bed, limit alcohol to 1 drink/night if drinking during the week (that's a big one for me, I love my wine), strive for 8 hours sleep per night, less snacking/mindless eating, and avoiding dairy and gluten whenever possible. I hope that since we decided to do this together we can stay on track.

For anyone needing a little smile or pick-me-up (like me) today, check out these "distractions" -
http://www.cnn.com/video/?hpt=hp_c3#/vi ... othy-hoban
I'm not a cat person but that just warms my heart. Check out the other videos at the bottom too, the baby with Siri is cute as well as the dog jumping. Best part is each video is only a minute long but is totally uplifting!

Thanks Obava! I survived (barely) my third and final root canal session this morning. Image

Foodwise - um- I've been able to stick to my 'in moderation' theme (barely) but now that the audit stress is done will get back to my tougher food plans.

However I have questions regarding the JANUARY CHALLENGE:
1- how long are doing it for - shall we do it for the same amount of time as previous challenges?
2- going back to the old rules or are we tweeking them?
3- who's owning the setup for the next challenge?
4- the weekly personal challenges - do we want to agree to them beforehand or have input? Or let whoever the fearless leader is make all the decisions?

Ok. Too much thinking after novacaine so I'll stop here and go back to ogling Kel's pictures. Image

Hey ladies, I don't know how many of you frequent the (formerly) Daily thread, but we are working on a belated anniversary gift for UC & Moon. We are sending them each a tin of cookies with a personalized photo created by our own Amy. there is a copy of it on page 37 or thereabouts. If any of you would like to contribute towards the buying of the gift please let me know and I'll give you my info. Thanks everyone!

So, I managed to get the water consumption back up this week.
Not so good with the increased exercise. Still working on that. Though I did park my car at the farthest end of the parking lot and walk any time I went anywhere. I'll try harder next week.
How is everyone else doing with their Healthy for the Holidays commitments?

Yay for water! Walking is a good start :D
I've been focusing more on my tummy stuff than these rules. It's going OK, although wheatgrass shots are NOT the energy boots the internet claims they are. Nor are they a substitute for coffee. I actually don't get anything from them
My exercise has been same as ever, water consumption has been bad, and my stomach seems to have shrunk- I no longer can eat 2 or 3 servings of anything. Yay me!
