Not so good with the increased exercise. Still working on that. Though I did park my car at the farthest end of the parking lot and walk any time I went anywhere. I'll try harder next week.
How is everyone else doing with their Healthy for the Holidays commitments?

Yay for water! Walking is a good start :D
I've been focusing more on my tummy stuff than these rules. It's going OK, although wheatgrass shots are NOT the energy boots the internet claims they are. Nor are they a substitute for coffee. I actually don't get anything from them
My exercise has been same as ever, water consumption has been bad, and my stomach seems to have shrunk- I no longer can eat 2 or 3 servings of anything. Yay me!

Each time I read about these wheat grass shots I thought they were some sort of injection. But I think it finally sank in that it's "shot" as in "served in a shot glass" kind of shot. Right?
There is no substitute for coffee. Just sayin'. :D
Glad that whatever else you're doing is "going ok" with your stomach issues.
How goes the illusive goal of touching your toes? Every time I stretch I think of you (oooo, kinky ;-) )

ooohhh, I thought they were injections too  which seemed kind of drastic to me, just for an energy boost!

Taking wheatgrass as an injection would only be an improvement, *trust*. :D That shizz is NASTY!
Image

I realized the decrease in my water consumption is probably from my stomach shrinking. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing...

Abs- I haven't tried touching my toes or stretched in for-ever. I kept hurting my (old) self trying :?

I have a 12+ hour work day today, most of it manual labor.

7 days 'til Christmas!!!!

I may be in the minority here but I really like wheatgrass shots! I feel so good afterwards, maybe not "energetic" but definitely like I took a step in the right direction for my health. I also eat green smoothies almost every morning though, so I'm used to a more "earthy" taste.

And I officially finished my Christmas shopping last night, go me! I'm now awaiting about 10 packages in the mail since I did most of it online. Just need to resist all the emails over the remaining week that say "Last minute gifts - BUY NOW!!!"

Yup, it's my birthday on Thursday and then the world comes to an end....coincidence? I know I'll be busting out at least one of my good bottles of wine to celebrate :D

I just received a silly little book as a gift, about a woman contemplating eating a chocolate bar :P the chocolate convinces her to indeed eat it, thus fulfilling it's reason for existing :?

umm, NOT helping! ;)

Hi All! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LC!!!!

Just stopping by to say hi! I have missed you, yet I've been busy. Unemployed yet again, so you might see me around. GUESS WHAT??? I have a boyfriend. GUESS WHAT ELSE???? His name is Edward. HAHAHAHAHA!!! Well, he goes by Ed, but still, it was so weird. I've been getting so much flack for that! I hope everyone has or had a wonderful holiday season, and I'll see you around.
It's Time!!

My DD was using my old-sometimes-non-working laptop. Well it finally stopped working for good a couple months ago...So since she is starting JuCo in January (YAY!!) we got her a laptop for Christmas. SO for the past week or so I have been ripping CDs that I got from the library (26 of them) to put on a flash drive so she can start with a full music library. Luckily she has pretty good taste in music (except for Red Hot Chili Peppers, which i do NOT like in the least). But I will finish that up today.
Time for some Van Morrison!
