Harry's Fish-Fry or The Cullen's Italiano?

Fish Fry. I don't trust the cooking of people who don't eat.

I was cleaning some things up the other day & found the "crop shop" game down in the britpack section that I forgot all about :D it was a game where I cropped a pic of someone's shirt, shoes, etc. & you had to guess what britpack member it was. well, D_E figured out that when you quoted a post to answer, you could see the pic file name, which usually had the person's name in it ;) so then I started changing the file names to things like "don't peek", "stop it, D_E!" etc. :P

and I still haven't read "wuthering heights"...

I'm reading Truth in Advertising. This may be my new favorite book. The main character guy is so funny and sarcastic. And really lazy.

"“F. Scott Fitzgerald said that there are no second acts in American lives. I have no idea what that means but I believe that in quoting him I appear far more intelligent than I am."

Yesterday was brutal! Felt like a Monday. I was super busy all day long. Do not like.

Today I do not feel like working at all. The weather is nice, boss is out of town...could be a long day.

I just noticed this morning that mine barfed all over my hope chest behind the humidifier. That'll be fun to clean up. And I suppose it's time to put the humidifier away...

I'm here. Sorry I wasn't chatty yesterday. I was in a tizzy most of yesterday at work. I'll leave you out of the details, but I will say that being in management is sometimes just as yucky and obnoxious as I knew it would be.

But today, is another day. The sun is trying to shine, and I didn't get to work until 10 am since I attended an award ceremony at the middle school.
(Proud Mom bragging time: Oldest got straight A's in all of her classes and they have a little ceremony after each quarter. Mr. A and I take turns attending and it was my turn today. :D )

Most definitely!!!

Alex, that is awesome about her oldest's grades! You and Mr A have to be very proud. And you should be. ;)

Raining Image

It was raining so hard this morning on my commute, I ended up turning the radio off!

Bought plane tx for our summer vacation last night, now I need to plan the rest and hope to survive a week with my family including most siblings +families... Image

Started to watch Vampire Diaries on Netflix during my workout, just began episode 2. Trying to decide if I'm too grossed out by how they show people being attacked. Image (yes I'm a vampire/horror movie wimp. Don't ask my why I read Twi & prefer vamp FF...) Though I have to admit Damon is mighty fine to look at!

You’re all complaining about your cats – I’m jealous! I wish we had one, Muffin wants one for her birthday, but Muffindad is adamantly againt it because he’s the stay-at-home OCD person who’d have to live thru the cat’s adjustment &care. Sigh. [IMG http://forums.hippymom.com/images/smilies/waiting.gif[/IMG] Though I agree, cat barf is no bueno.

Alexandra – yeay for your smart kiddo! Image

As for the 365 Days of Rob, here’s my mood for today:

I'm wearing my grey cardi today, too. TWINSIES!

I did a google for 'Richard Armitage cocktail' and got this photo:

Am I to drink the beverage off his chest? Well... if I must.

Thanks for the kind words about my oldest. She's been working hard and we are proud of her. :D

So Amy, when should Gia and I plan to meet you at the airport for our planned stowing away mission??

We leave Friday morning!!! Like in 40 hours!!! The packing has begun. I can't wait until i am on that plan so i can stop stressing about stuff to remember not to forget. I got my pedi today and it was very enjoyable. I also got my brows waxed. I worked extra for a girl this weekend so I am hoping she will work a bit for me tomorrow so i can get off early (like noon-ish) Only 7 women in labor today so maybe tomorrow will be slow.

Today, I bent down while taking a pic of a very cute baby and scraped my ass on my cart. it ripped my pants and put a huge gash in my ass. I didn't let on that it happened (because i am a professional) and i'm sure they didn't notice my red undies showing through... :? I had to file something through HR in case it gets infected. :( And to make things even better....the dad of the cute baby was my son's football coach.

Okay, more packing and planning to do. I wish gianna was here to do it. And then i could slip her and the rest of you into the bags!!!

Hello All!

This is just a flyby post (again) as I am still decorating.

However, I wanted to pop in as I feel I'm MIA alot lately.

Alex - Yay!!!!! Congratulations to your brainy daughter. Give her a huge well done from her auntie GG!

Jodes - Boo for cat barf. Few things make me heave, but that is one of them. I think it's the smell of fish. :?

Amy - Yay!!! I cant wait to meet you. Just sent you an email with my phone number for when you get to the UK. Roll on flatmate brandies. :D :D :D

MuffinMom - Keep working on your DH to get a cat for your MiniMuffin. My DH was NOT a cat person AT ALL and resisted for YEARS (I blame it on his parents never allowing him to have a house pet when he was little.) However, Chester is now his baby (yes he even sleeps with us on our bed) and the DH is besotted. The DH says getting a cat was the best decision we ever made. :D :D :D 3 years on and my 10 year old says Chester is the best present he's ever had.

Gia - I could do with your help sorting out my wardrobe (closet?) as it is chaos in there. :?

Everyone else - I wish you all could stow away in Amy's bag so we could ALL drink brandy together. :)
