A few things that have made me laugh about Twilight

Hear ads? Yeah, we do too. They will stop annoying you if you take 2 seconds to MUTE them by hitting the volume button- two ads on the side (or directly below this post) and one all the way at the bottom! We hear this trick works to mute politicians too!

Dear Twilight,

With the hubbub of Breaking Dawn dying down, I’ve finally had a moment to collect my thoughts & sort through my emails &  my bookmarks & share a few funnies I came across over the past few weeks that maybe you missed. Yes two of these are videos & I knowwwww you can’t always watch videos if you’re at one of those job-things, but SAVE THEM for later. Seriously- especially this first one. You DON’T want to miss it.

And lastly, the hilarous blogger, The Bloggess, LEGITIMATELY donned a wolf costume for her Breaking Dawn midnight showing:

Emergency Post (Because Michael Sheen does a dramatic Fan Fic reading)

Dear Twilight,

It’s Thursday at 11:42 am ET. And I stopped what I was doing (photoshopping a truck for a “truckload sale” we’ve having this weekend. Come on down if you want a hot tub & live in Philadelphia!) because THIS VIDEO of Michael Sheen dramatically reading a Twilight Fan Fiction appeared:

Friday Funnies! Chris Weitz likes the best videos. EVER!

Dear LTT-ers,

I don’t know about you all but today is a big day… it is Good Friday for those who celebrate and it is also the LA stop on the Railroad Revival Tour so I am busy celebrating, remembering, singing and eating Five Guys (the restaurant, pervs). BUUTTT I thought we should take a second to have a laugh courtesy of Chris Weitz and his Twitter. At some point (who knows when) he tweeted a link to his favorite funny Twilight video. It just happens to come from The Onion so you KNOW it’s gonna be gooood.

Who knew outting our embarrassing first times on here would bring out so many other laughable, sweet hilarious, pathetic and down right embarrassing virgin moments from your other fans and our readers?! Everything from gchat conversations about DVD releases

me: I am totally going to a twilight DVD release party…wanna come? borders across the states are hosting these events
Friend: hahaha when?
me: and I am going and I am excited… 10:00pm-12:00am March 20  its the midnight release of the DVD which I’ve already preordered. well I’m actually pissed because there are lots of versions out there and I settled on the borders version like yesterday, target came out with one that I want more its got more extra features, and now I’m pissed

Me: I have just spent the past 10 hours READING TWILIGHT (and I’m going back for more).

Me: I’m serious. [My husband] rented it this weekend, and I caved and watched it with him. Then when he went to work yesterday, I WATCHED IT AGAIN.

Me: THEN I went to WalMart and bought the book (and the dvd). OMG.

Me: I even went to WalMart so my regular bookstore lady wouldn’t see me buying it, and I could hide it under a box of Capri-Suns.

Well when you put it that way…

Dear Twilight,

We love you. A lot. Like A-LOT A-LOT. You know this and we’ve accepted your idiosyncrasies and your quirks and like any good, mature relationship, they only make us love you more. Especially when the movie versions add in totally dumb ones. (shhhh those are our favorites!) But as you know people like to make fun of you and even though we try sometimes it’s hard to explain why you’re so great when people like to focus on the absurd. But they do make great videos. Like this…

David Slade blew the roof off Eclipse and made even some of the crazy stuff seem totally plausible so what about Breaking Dawn? We KNOW Bill Condon’s got his work cut out for him. Renesmee, births, cottages by the creek, yada yada yada I wonder if he got the cliff’s notes version like this…

Plasma TV and AWESOME DVD collection. Maybe these folks should write the script? They know the important stuff.

Oh Twilight, we still love you! Even besides your incessant talk of glowering and Bella’s pregnant foods being eggs and cups of blood instead of ice cream and pickles. We wouldn’t trade you for anything, for realz.
